Variants

ASSYX guarantees that all ASSYX DuroBOARDs® are always manufactured using the same polyurethane variant of the Baydur® brand from Covestro.
Additionally, the internal fiberglass reinforcement of the working edges is a unique feature of the ASSYX DuroBOARD®, ensuring perfect protection and long-lasting durability.
The mechanical properties of the ASSYX DuroBOARD® are determined by its wood core. Over the years, ASSYX has developed several variants to provide targeted solutions for our customers.

The ASSYX DuroBOARD® M-ain is the all-rounder among our board variants. Its core consists of LVL wood made from Finnish spruce, ensuring a high-density, endlessly layered construction that guarantees excellent vibration transmission. With a density of 500 kg/m³ and an E-modulus of 10,000 N/mm², this board is highly versatile and suitable for the production of all types of concrete products, from paving stones and blocks to curbstones and large-format concrete slabs.

For those seeking an environmentally friendly alternative to tropical hardwoods, the ASSYX DuroBOARD® X-tra is the perfect choice. Many concrete plants still remember the days when hardwoods from tropical forests were the preferred material for supporting boards. Today, however, no rainforest giants need to be felled to produce high-quality concrete blocks. The X-tra variant features an LVL wood core made from beech, with a density of 750 kg/m³ and an E-modulus of over 13,000 N/mm², making it particularly well-suited for heavy concrete products or installations where board thickness is limited by the plant’s geometry. Its optimized vibration transmission further enhances energy and cement savings, even surpassing the efficiency of the M-ain variant.

A strong alternative to the M-ain model is the ASSYX DuroBOARD® P-nus, which offers similar performance characteristics but with a slightly higher density of 600 kg/m³.

For customers who wish to benefit from the advantages of the ASSYX DuroBOARD® while keeping costs in check, we offer the E-con variant. In this version, ASSYX selects the optimal wood core based on the customer’s specific production requirements, ensuring both efficiency and affordability.
